National Online Safety equips school staff, parents and pupils with the knowledge they need to understand online dangers. It is their mission to make the internet a safer place for children. They aim to achieve this through equipping school staff, parents and children with the knowledge they need to understand online dangers and how best to react should an incident arise.
National Online Safety required some brand new video content, and they had secured the wonderful Myleene Klass to present it. They have put together a fantastic free online safety course for parents and carers. Our team only had a few days to turn the project around, from filming at UP studios in London to editing and uploading the course ready for eager learners to digest.
We arrived at UP, dressed the set, set up two cameras, lights, an autocue, and we were ready to go. Myleene arrived, and we were ready to roll! She was an absolute pleasure to work with, already being a passionate advocate for online safety. After many read-throughs (and lots of lovely conversations in between) before we knew it, we had wrapped!
So, we headed back to the studio, and our editors started piecing the course content together. National Online Safety also required 3x short promotional clips and a teaser, which launched in paid ads on social media to get new sign-ups for the course. We managed to squeeze these extra edits in too as well as the full finished course material. And all within the deadline.
