The Client

Hannah Dale began Wrendale Designs on a crowded kitchen table in Melton Ross, Lincolnshire. Inspired by the glorious Lincolnshire countryside and the outdoor life, Hannah started to paint hares; loving their expressive faces and wonderful personalities. Other people agreed, and they were an immediate success.

Spurred on by this, she expanded her repertoire and began painting other animals – foxes, pheasants, geese, dogs, hens (the family keeps Cochins with their wonderfully feathery feet!). These beautiful illustrations now feature on a large selection of greeting cards, stationery and gifts.

The Brief

Hannah approached us with an exciting new product ready to launch – her Plush collection. She also wanted to bring her to brand to life to break into a new market overseas, and bringing brands to life is what we do best. We approached the project with our usual mindset – relaxed, informal and burning with curiosity. We learnt about Hannah and her brand – what inspires her, her process, and what customers love most about her products. We listened, and we learned.

The Outcome

After planning, we spent a day filming on Hannahs lovely farm in rural Lincolnshire. From this, we created a series of films, including the brand film featured above and some longer videos featuring an interview with Hannah. One of the longer videos was used at a popular Trade Show to launch Wrendale Designs into the US market – very exciting! That video can be seen here – All of the videos were met with great reception and gave Hannah an invaluable tool to promote her brand and products. The shorter videos were used successfully on social media with both organic and paid advertising to raise brand awareness and generate sales.

“It was a pleasure working with Luke and Pete – from the initial discussions, they immediately understood our brand and the kind of tone and messaging that we wanted to achieve. They were extremely accommodating with a very tight schedule and worked hard to get everything turned around in a very short space – of time. We really enjoyed the day of filming – they are total professionals and very skilled in what they do. Most importantly, we are absolutely thrilled with the results and it has been instrumental in the success of our latest product launch, at a challenging time for the industry.” –¬†Hannah Dale, Wrendale Designs¬†
